Job description
Embedded Software Test Engineer
- Full-time role for an Embedded Software Test Engineer
- Hybrid position based in Oxford, with some work-from-home flexibility
- Responsible for executing and developing software tests
- Create and manage test cases for embedded software
- Collaborate closely with software development teams
- Ensure test cases are accurately executed and reported
- Work with developers to identify and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Experience in test execution and software testing
- Skilled in creating and managing test cases
- Knowledge of software development principles related to testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems is a plus
- Experience in safety-critical domains such as aerospace or medical is an added advantage
